Warwick Aged Care Opening Day

Churches of Christ in Queensland open new integrated Aged Care project at Warwick

Warwick Aged Care

We are pleased to have been part of the team that has delivered the first of 3 new and exciting Positive Wellbeing Care facilities for The Churches of Christ in Qld.

This development is in Warwick, at the southern end of the Darling Downs. The core of this project, sees  cottages, set around a community courtyard. In this courtyard are communal areas with an emphasis of health and well being. The Courtyard has raised gardens, bocce lawn, men’s shed, BBQ, gym, chicken coop, sitting rooms and easy access to Hair Salon, Cafe and other Community Use spaces.

Breaking Down The Boundaries

This development sees the breaking down of boundaries that would traditionally separate Care Facilities and their surrounding communities, with a deliberate focus on the location and provision of spaces that allow the local community and the occupants of the households to interact freely.
These shared spaces will also facilitate the provision of other in

home care and support services.
